Personal Statement
As a new graduate I am eager to start my career in Education. I have a plethora of student teaching experience in various different grade levels, working with adolescent age children in a variety of settings. I believe my experience, passion, and commitment to educating the whole child makes me an ideal candidate. I feel the opportunities I have had within student teaching, coaching, tutoring, and nannying provided me with the skills to identify every child’s individual strengths, and how to scaffold off of these. I believe my diverse experiences and dedication to helping all children reach their potential regardless of socio-economic status, gender, race, language, ethnicity, religion or disability would make me a very strong assets to a school climate. I am striving to combine my range of experiences with my abilities to create an environment of mutual respect, acceptance and tolerance. I believe the unique tool box I have built will contribute to helping me make a positive contribution in my future classroom.
